For free-running belts, the belt is driven by a friction coupling between the belt and the drive drum. For positive-drive belts, a form-fit connection is made between the belt and the drive wheel.
In special cases, for particular types of belts, specialized drive and deflecting wheels are needed. We are happy to provide customized drive solutions for you.
